PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
In a world gone mad, trust Cheap Trick to remind us all of what’s been lost and what we need most. Founded in 1974 by Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass guitar), and erstwhile drummer Bun E. Carlos, the Rockford, IL-born band is back with IN ANOTHER WORLD – their 20th studio collection and first since 2017’s double header of WE’RE ALL ALRIGHT! and CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS. Produced by longtime associate Julian Raymond, the new LP sees the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees doing what they do better than anyone, crafting indelible rock ‘n’ roll with oversized hooks, mischievous lyrics, and seemingly inexorable energy. Trademark anthems like “Light Up The Fire” and “Boys & Girls & Rock N Roll” are countered by more introspective – but no less exuberant – considerations of times past, present, and unknowable future on such strikingly potent new tracks as “Another World” and “I’ll See You Again.” As irresistible and immediate as anything in their already awesome catalog, IN ANOTHER WORLD is Cheap Trick at their irrepressible best, infinitely entertaining and utterly unstoppable.

All seating for this show is reserved. Each concert ticket includes admission to the Fair for the day of the show when purchased in advance. This is an outdoor venue & shows will take place in rain or shine. Seating opens at 6:00pm for show seating. Children 2 & under are free.

Cheap Trick remain among the most influential and popular bands of any era, armed with an untouchable canon of certifiable classics like “He’s A Whore,” “California Man,” “Dream Police,” “Surrender,” “I Want You To Want Me,” and the worldwide #1 hit single, “The Flame.” 2016 saw the band inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a long overdue acknowledgement of a nearly five decade career that has earned Cheap Trick more than 40 international gold and platinum certifications, myriad awards and industry honors, featured appearances on over 20 movie soundtracks, and total record sales well in excess of 20 million.

Cody Beebe & The Crooks are a Northwest Country staple and have been around the block a time or two, touring through 30 US states and 7 European countries over the span of those years. In the past few years, family and personal matters took them off the road and out of the recording studio. In the summer of 2018, they started writing new music, went into the studio to record just as the Covid-19 pandemic was taking hold of the world, but they were not deterred and the new record is set for release after a five-year hiatus. Known for their progressive rock take on country music, they have found themselves playing Watershed at the Gorge three times, opening for notable acts all over the country, backing Nashville recording artist Austin Jenckes, and even starting their own festival as a result of their die-hard fanbase, Chinook Fest. With a new-found energy and fresh songs, the band assures “you really ain’t seen nothin’ yet”.

Special guest James Otto is one of the most distinct vocalists in Country music and is a 2-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter. Once for his vocal performance on his breakthrough hit song “Just Got Started Lovin’ You” which was the biggest hit in all of country music in 2008. The second nomination was for co-writing Jamey Johnson’s “in Color”, which also won both CMA and ACM “Song of the Year”. Otto has written songs for many different major label acts including The Zac Brown Band, Darrius Rucker, Randy House, Chris Janson, Trace Adkins, John Anderson, Alabama, Confederate Railroad and many others. He’s a founding member of the infamous Music Mafia that includes artists Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson.

Luis Coronel has become one of the most successful Latin music artists of this generation. Little did Luis know that he was preparing for a career in music when he used his personal social networks to make friends, share photos and videos, and connect with a group of followers who would eventually become his fans. The biggest surprise came when he was a teenager and uploaded his rendition of Mexican songwriter Horacio Palencia’s hit, "Mi Niña Traviesa," to his Facebook. The next day, Luis woke up to discover his version of the catchy love song had received thousands of likes, accidentally jump starting his career.

Thanks to his unique musical style, Luis became the youngest solo artist to reach the #1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart in 13 years (in the 21-year history of the list), an accomplishment that was made possible by "Quiero Ser Tu Dueño," which has been certified as a gold record by the Recording Industry Association of America.
